Mark & Lorraine Illston run Minda Hills, a 320ha medium hill country property located in Taihape. For the last 20 years have been developing the 2400 fully recorded SIL sheep flock.
Kristina Illston has recently come back to Minda Hills to start the succession plan for taking over the farm and stud. She has previously studied a B.Ag.Sc at Lincoln University, worked for Agtrac (agriculture technology & data solutions) and travelled overseas.
Dave Kitney has been a large part of Minda Hills Genetics, mentoring and helping maintain a high standard of structural conformation and quality.
