Increased Fertility, Facial Eczema resistance and Meat Yield

Since getting MH rams, over the past 6 years, I have seen an increase in fertility, facial eczema resistance and meat yield.

At lambing I now don’t go near them due to having so many lambs.

Docked 154% last, great for my class of country.

Even in these dry conditions the ewes and lambs are still solid and have held their condition well.
The first truck and trailer of lambs in January hung at 19kg.

We have been using Minda Hills rams for 5 years and due to their free moving ability at weaning we are getting most paddocks back to the wool shed an hour quicker than before and the dry rate at scanning time has been steadily dropping.

Last year in a difficult autumn there were only 50 dries out of 5000 MA ewes.

There is definitely an improvement in survivability.
Also the lambs are much better weights.
